Great food and great green sauce. It's going to be a little greasy but I think most people know that going in. Ordered Steak Quesadilla and it was scrumptious

Just moved up from Southern California where you can typically find real Mexican food anywhere....in Lake Oswego...not so much, until I stumbled into this place located in a strip mall. Drove by many times thinking it was a bad chain. Great tacos!!! my family cannot stop coming here. Fast and inexpensive. Not the most friendly at the counter, not rude, just no personality. Interior is nothing special either, but totally fine for quick dine in or take out.

All I can say is that we haven't been disappointed in anything we have ordered from here. Price is reasonable and you get a lot of food. Their tacos and nachos are probably our favorite go to items but honestly we haven't been disappointed in our other choices we have ordered.

Being from San Diego, we have had trouble finding a burrito place that was reasonably priced and authentic. My thought is that you can always tell a burrito place by the carne asada. The carne asada at Señor Taco was legit. We got two other burritos, a bean and cheese and a bean and rice. Both were really good and reminded me of a Roberto's or Adalberto's. Great place. Go there.

Senor Taco is the best. Both West Linn and LO locations. Something on the menu for everyone. Ive had everything from burritos, nachos, tacos, cheeseburgers, and even cow tongue. Everything I had was good. The burritos are my favorite though. The super nachos are the most expensive thing I think but worth it and great to get to watch the fooseball game. I used to work at costco and the owner would get a lot of good quality stuff from there.

Senor Taco been there thrice and each time scored a fine burrito. this is becoming a habit. the bean and cheese burrito was classic. the barbecued pork ("pastor) burrito was a flat out home run. the service is instant and the burrito hot. tried a third time, on a Sunday, but they were closed. So, undaunted and fully focused, i drove a couple of miles down to their West Linn location and scored another fine barbecued pork ("pastor) burrito. backup in place, eh? tx to my friend , Paco Trowt, for turning me on to this low key, close to home gem.

My husband and go here to get our carne asada fix. The carne asada burrito is always tasty and ready in just a few minutes. Tasty and inexpensive....what else can you ask for?

The food is great! But the customer service is horrible!!!! The lady at Lake Oswego probably has one of the worst attitudes EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have a business in the surrounding area, and when ever me or my employee's call try to call in a order she picks up the phone and then hangs up on us. She's rude to us when we come in to place orders. She will not even speak to us unless it to say what we owe her. She has been doing it for a couple of weeks now, and when I tried to bring it to the manager/owners attention he asked "what do you want me to do about it?" RUDE RUDE RUDE STAFF!!!

Not exactly sure why some people this 5 stars. It's a straight up spot for cheap mexican food. Had the lengue burrito which was apparently the best in Oregon according to another review, and it not really sure where that guy eats but it was pretty blah. Food was bland when I had the tacos and burrito but I also wasn't expecting too much after I walked in. Small seating area and lady that works at the counter isn't exactly chippy.

I have been to a number of taco, burrito places in Oregon and none are better than this quaint gem hidden in a strip mall in Lake Oswego. Let's begin with the basics. First and foremost, your food is delivered HOT! This relatively obvious given is often an oversight by most places. Who wants to eat a luke warm, cold or room temperature burrito!?!? I want and prefer my meals to be served as if they were just prepared, FRESH! From the stove too! Not freshly nuked, either. If I opt for a cold meal I'll grab a bowl of Cheerios! or if a radiated burrito is on tap then I'll find a 7-Eleven! Secondly, everything is seasoned. Not just with salt and pepper but actual seasonings from within the rest of the pantry! Each bite is a foray into the kitchen of someone's abuelita. Biting into a Senor Taco burrito makes you want to look for an old lady and plant a sloppy wet one across her cheek and exclaim "Muchas gracias por todos, Doña Rodriguez!" I am a fan and now that I have found the single most bestus burrito in Portland I have no problem making the trek to this tiny find to indulge in one of my culinary faves! Yeah, yeah I know it's called Senor Taco that's just a small oversight to keep you from discovering the best item on the menu.

I have never made a poor Yelp review but I couldn't help it with Senor Taco. To be clear, the food is fine. About the only decent Mexican food to be had in this area, but the customer service is appalling. I don't expect much from the place. It's not like I need or even want someone grinning ear to ear as they take your order, but the woman who runs the counter and takes orders is unbearably rude. I have continued to come back because the food is good but I can't anymore. Today was my last meal there. She couldn't be bothered to get off her cell phone to take my order today and she never replies even after I thank her for taking my order.

This review is a long time coming. I really enjoy eating here, burritos are good size, lots of options, very reasonable price, really yummy, and quick service. This is a great place for lunch or just a quick fix, would recommend them to my friends!

Quick dining. I think they would benefit from a larger space, they have 6 tables. So if you are getting it to-go this place is great. Food selection is awesome and pretty consistent.

Awful. Just, awful. I came here because my coworkers told me it was delicious and cheap. So, I tried a tostada salad. First, the woman behind the counter was on her cell phone, and barely acknowledged me. After placing my order, I sat down and literally 10 seconds later my food was up. There is NO WAY they could have washed their hands sufficiently in that amount of time, let alone wash their hands and put my food together. I took it anyway though, not wanting to cause trouble. When I got back to work to eat it, I was incredibly disappointed. The refried beans were crust, tomatoes were old and tostada was soggy! I didn't even get half-way through before I decided it would be better to go hungry than finish it. I will not be returning.

this place has the best lengua burritos that iv had in Oregon. something iv learned in my 29 years is most times the best food are out of food trucks and in small spaces inside strip malls. i don't go to lake oswego alot but maybe its time i do

They have great food that is not Americanized. I only suggest that you check your food if you have take out. I either get someone elses order or my order is done wrong.

This is the best Mexican place around town, hands down. Their burritos are huge and delicious, full of tender meat and other tasty morsels. One bite, and the resulting eruption of flavor would make a Chipotle burrito cry. I've had many burritos but Senor Taco keeps me coming back. Try the lengua burrito if you've never had it. Just don't ask what it is. And if you're extra hungry, order any burrito chimichanga-style, deep-fried and topped with generous portions of cheese, lettuce, and sour cream. Your heart will never be the same. In more ways than one. Seriously, go, your taste buds will thank you.
(5)
J E.
One of the worst places I've been to in a while. I got a chicken burrito and the chicken was flavorless and really dry. The woman who took our order seemed to be in a hurry to get our order taken so she could check her phone. Poor food and poor service and we won't be back.

Chris R.
Great take-out Mexican! Having grown up in San Diego with some of the best Mexican food in the world (Robertos, Fidels, Los Olas, Rubios) - it's nice to finally find something great here! They "get" Mexican refried beans. This is how they are supposed to taste. Service is fast, prices are great and it's nice to have this local!
(4)
William T.
The food is awesome. The value is great...the portions are ginormous. I usually get the pastor burrito and often will take half of it home with me, for under six bucks. That's saying quite a bit as I can generally clean my plate (thanks mom)! The seating, unfortunately, sucks. It's terribly limited and it's always crowded. The last time I was there we had to eat in the truck because there was nowhere for us to sit inside. The line could be quite long too, but don't let that fool you....they're speedy quick!
(4)
Casey C.
Senor Taco is the first stop for many Lakeridge graduates home to Lake Oswego for a visit. This place was good then and it's good now. Service is fast, prices fit any student-loan besieged budget and the food is well....worth coming back for. I get the burritos packed with moist flavorful bites that make me eat slowly for a change just to prolong the experience. They offer a choice of a milder green or spicier red sauce--choose your weapon but for me, the green one is the perfect complement to an already mouth savoring experience. I've won many Senor Taco converts over, including my sister's boyfriend who includes this humble restaurant on his "places to go" when he visits. The food is definitely 5 star but ambiance and seating is lacking so went with 4.
(4)
Kelly T.
The arteries in my heart will never forgive the coworker who told me about this place. I work in Lake Oswego, but don't live there so I never really explored the area outside my workplace for good eats. One day my coworker brings this delicious looking burrito to work and I had to try one. After that I was hooked. It's not the best Mexican food in the world, but for how cheap it is, it is TASTEY. I am currently hooked on the Steak Picado Burrito Chimichanga Style. The girl that works the counter is always really polite too and the food always comes out fast!
(4)
Brianna L.
The only decent food in Lake Oswego for a moderate price and a quick work day lunch. Not the best tasting Mexican food and I lived in Mexico for a year and know good authentic Mexican food when I have it. It lacks flavor and the meat is always a little dry and of poor quality. But there isn't much there to eat and I am not a rich Lake O resident so this does it for me.
(4)
Gigi M.
I have been a regular customer and have always enjoyed the food but recently the service has been so RUDE I think that I might have to find a new place to get my burrito. Last time I called in my order the girl told me that she didn't know how long it would take to prepare my food. I asked "When should I pick it up? Ten minutes, thirty minutes? " She said she didn't know and hung up on me. Next time I called in an order at 8:10 and she told me that I had to be there in 5 mins or they would be closed, despite the fact that they advertise their closing time as 8:30. The food isn't so good that I have to tolerate that sort of attitude. I'll take my money somewhere else!

Have struggled to find good Mexican in PDX, but Senor is good and reliable. Big fan of the tacos and fajita burritos. Warning: if you get chips to go they will be covered with pico de gallo and thereby made soggy.

Averaging my visits over the years, this place would get two stars, but it actually has been much better the last few times. The tacos have anyway. Based on this encouraging trend, I am compelled to dish them out an extra estrella. But why, you may be asking, why go back here "over the years" as you say? The answer is simple: 1) My wife likes it. I freely admit she calls the shots. 2) It is the only taqueria near my house (there was a Muchas Gracias on the other side of town for about 8 months). There are a couple Mexican sit-down-and-be-waited-on restaurants here, but no other raw, get-in-and-get-out joints. So, back to recent visits. I stick to the tacos here as I don't care for the beans they pack their burritos with. The tacos should have more cilantro and onions, but they have a ton of meat and tomatoes, so I can deal with it. They use two tortillas as the base. The carne asada and shredded beef that I had tonight are quite enjoyable. Both were perfectly cooked and had the nice salty flavor I go for. In the past, the chicken and carnitas seemed to always be dry, so I didn't bother with them tonight. Maybe I'll give them another shot next time. My wife, or boss, as I affectionately call her, likes the machaca burrito, and I think it is pretty good but far from the best I have tried. I really don't like their al pastor and advise you try something other than that. Their bean and cheese nachos are pretty darn tasty given the fact that they use the same beans to overpower their burritos. Again, the tacos are probably the way to go. Prices are not bad and they have friendly service. Don't go out of your way to go here, but if you are in the area, I would not discourage you to try it out.

One of my absolute favorite restaurants. The food is delicious here and very cheap. There is nothing on the menu that I do not like. The burritos are huge, the tacos are delicious and the quesedilla is amazing!

In Lakeridge high school, once you got a car, you knew you had to go to senor taco. This place is small and usually cramped, but that's always a good sign, right? The woman at the counter is always nice and service is usually quick. Their food is so so so good and cheap too. I usually get their taquitos with the pureed quacamole sauce and a cheese quesadilla. I could never leave with just one item. The funny thing is that although it's a mexican restaurant, their cheeseburgers are awesome too! - Fast, Super Tasty, Cheap - What more could you want??
(4)
B H.
This is almost as good as it gets when it comes to Mexican joints in Oregon. I like the chile relleno burrito w/o the rice. The red sauce beats the greaan and I usually get a side of the creamy, lard-like beans ( the cooks insist there's no lard in them). Cheap and reliable. Wish I had discovered Senor Taco before now.

Señor Taco is probably the most authentic, good Mexican food place in this area. It's prices are reasonable and its food is very good.

This is the only taco place in all of Portland that has satiated my LA-native taco needs. The prices are actually fair, there's no clever name or frills--just good tacos, burritos and tamales.

We needed to find a place for a little snack because we weren't eating dinner until after 9pm, and we didn't want chain fast food. We saw Senor Taco and decided to give it a try. It's nothing fancy. Cute tables in the seating area. The portions were good and the food was flavorful. I liked the squeeze bottles of red hot sauce. Spicy and yummy! I would definitely come back!

Food is great. In fact, best burritos ever. 2 star review due to the absolutely sour counter person. She is so unpleasant that even the great food give us pause to come back. This counter person won't acknowledge customers, won't smile, won't help customers in any way. Her attitude is the worst we have ever seen. Curious why the owners keep such an unpleasant person dealing with customers.

Nothing really to say about this place... like any other small mexican restaurant. The cooks were friendly but the lady at the counter seemed unhappy and couldn't even muster up a smile.

Great food for a great price. Much more seating at this location than the West Linn location. Great place to stop for a quick snack or giant burrito lunch.

Terrific tacos, and killer tamales! The tamales are the best I've ever had!

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

(4)Stevilynn T.
All I can say is that we haven't been disappointed in anything we have ordered from here. Price is reasonable and you get a lot of food. Their tacos and nachos are probably our favorite go to items but honestly we haven't been disappointed in our other choices we have ordered.
(4)Josh G.
Go there.
(5)Jerry D.
(5)Peter R.
(4)Kathy M.
My husband and go here to get our carne asada fix. The carne asada burrito is always tasty and ready in just a few minutes. Tasty and inexpensive....what else can you ask for?
(4)Kendra V.
(1)Michael P.
(2)Will E.
(5)G-Rick I.
(1)Jack E.
This review is a long time coming. I really enjoy eating here, burritos are good size, lots of options, very reasonable price, really yummy, and quick service. This is a great place for lunch or just a quick fix, would recommend them to my friends!
(4)Josh L.
Quick dining. I think they would benefit from a larger space, they have 6 tables. So if you are getting it to-go this place is great. Food selection is awesome and pretty consistent.
(4)Rachael M.
(1)Seth F.
this place has the best lengua burritos that iv had in Oregon. something iv learned in my 29 years is most times the best food are out of food trucks and in small spaces inside strip malls. i don't go to lake oswego alot but maybe its time i do
(5)Jason P.
They have great food that is not Americanized. I only suggest that you check your food if you have take out. I either get someone elses order or my order is done wrong.
(4)Alex L.
(5)J E.
One of the worst places I've been to in a while. I got a chicken burrito and the chicken was flavorless and really dry. The woman who took our order seemed to be in a hurry to get our order taken so she could check her phone. Poor food and poor service and we won't be back.
(1)Chris R.
(4)William T.
(4)Casey C.
(4)Kelly T.
(4)Brianna L.
(4)Gigi M.

(3)Fadi S.
One of my absolute favorite restaurants. The food is delicious here and very cheap. There is nothing on the menu that I do not like. The burritos are huge, the tacos are delicious and the quesedilla is amazing!
(5)Kate M.
(4)B H.

(2)Melody L.
Nothing really to say about this place... like any other small mexican restaurant. The cooks were friendly but the lady at the counter seemed unhappy and couldn't even muster up a smile. Won't go back unless I get another massage at Massage Envy next door. There are a million other Mexican restaurants (well maybe not in Lake Oswego) near by that I can go to.

Grumpy staff. Prices are cheap for the amount of food you get. However, I've never been so sick in my life after eating out. I will never go back.

I've won many Senor Taco converts over, including my sister's boyfriend who includes this humble restaurant on his "places to go" when he visits. The food is definitely 5 star but ambiance and seating is lacking so went with 4.

This is almost as good as it gets when it comes to Mexican joints in Oregon. I like the chile relleno burrito w/o the rice. The red sauce beats the greaan and I usually get a side of the creamy, lard-like beans ( the cooks insist there's no lard in them). Cheap and reliable. Wish I had discovered Senor Taco before now.

Great food for a great price. Much more seating at this location than the West Linn location. Great place to stop for a quick snack or giant burrito lunch.

Terrific tacos, and killer tamales! The tamales are the best I've ever had!
